John Barnes  BMusEd MAGA APRA
 
John has performed in ensembles ranging from Jazz Trio to Symphony Orchestra, working with many prominent Australian musicians in the fields of Rock, Jazz and Classical.

His teaching positions have included Lecturer in Percussion  at the University of Newcastle and Director of Music  in a number of private secondary schools.

He is also a professional Music Arranger/Composer, having been elected as Arranger  to the Music Arrangers' Guild of Australia (MAGA) and as a Writer Full Member  to the Australian Performing Right Association (APRA).

John recently relocated from Sydney to Adelaide to set up his teaching studio  jbdrumming.
